Walk About

On a recent walk I noticed a white bird flying with a grey heron.  It was a bit smaller then the grey yet not small enough to be a little egret and Great egrets are very seldom spotted in the UK..  I have never seen a egret in Britain before, I know they get them further south but I wasn't expecting to see one in Thirsk!  My photos a bit poor but they were flying a fair distance away and couldn't get any closer disappointingly.  A good spot never the less.
